Drake & Scull bags Kuwait MEP project

Drake & Scull International has been appointed by the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in Kuwait to provide MEP services for the College of Basic Education, Boys Campus.

Drake & Scull International are to provide the complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to the Educational Buildings which are located near Kuwait Jaber Al Ahmmed Stadium, Ardiya.

Drake & Scull’s area director Tawfiq Abu Soud said that the total project is worth over $130 million with Drake & Scull International’s MEP work being valued at $33 million.

“This is the second time PAAET have awarded a contract to Drake & Scull International,” he added.

The entire project calls for design and construction of 15 three-storey buildings, which include educational facilities, learning resources, an administration building, recreational facilities and car-parks for the boys’ college at the Ardiya campus.

“Some of the services provided by Drake & Scull include a central air conditioning and ventilation system; domestic water services; a drainage System; electrical power distribution and the telecommunication System.”

The scheduled date of completion is November 13, 2010. – TradeArabia News Service
