Olympic Group's parent company Paradise Capital expects to seal a takeover of the Egyptian appliance maker by Electrolux "within a few weeks", Paradise's chairman said on Wednesday.

Saad El-Din Abdullah Sallam said he expected the final deal to include changes to a tentative agreement with Electrolux made in October last year.

"Yes I expect some change in the agreement," he told reporters in Cairo. "Electrolux might ask for additional assurances given the current political situation."

"The dust has to settle first for things to be clear," he said. "But I expect a final deal in a matter of a few weeks." – Reuters
