Network International’s KSA operations certified PCI DSS
DUBAI, April 14, 2022
Network International, a leader in digital commerce, said that Network International Arabia has been assessed as compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v3.2.1.
This marks a key milestone in the company’s Saudi Arabia expansion.
PCI DSS is an established global industry standard for compliance and security, established by the PCI Security Standards Council to protect sensitive information and prevent fraud. It applies to any organisation involved in the processing, transmission, and storage of credit card information.
The PCI Security Standards Council’s mission is to enhance global payment account data security by developing standards and supporting services that drive education, awareness, and effective implementation by stakeholders.
Abdulaziz Al-Dahmash, Managing Director, Network International Arabia, said: “We are excited and proud to receive this certification for our KSA operations, one of the largest payments markets in the MEA and a strategic growth market for Network. As a leading enabler of digital commerce in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), our customers and the security of their data is a top priority for us.
“The interests of our customers are at the core of what we do, and we are committed to complying and staying updated with the highest security standards in the market. We see this certification as a key milestone, as we look to strengthen our foothold in the KSA market.”
This certification was awarded by an independent Qualified Security Assessor, SISA, who performed the certification audit against the latest PCI DSS Version 3.2.1.
“Maintaining the security of valuable customer data to protect it from data theft and fraud should be one of the top priorities for organizations in the payments industry. We congratulate Network International for attaining the PCI DSS compliance certificate and appreciate its efforts and commitment towards building a highly secure payment environment for its customers,” said Dharshan Shanthamurthy, CEO and Founder, SISA. – TradeArabia News Service
