ADIB opens new branch in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, July 13, 2014

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has opened its 80th UAE branch in the Shahama area in west Abu Dhabi.

The facility will offer customers the full range of retail and commercial services and will further strengthen ADIB’s position as a leading retail bank in the UAE, said a statement.

The bank is committed to making its services as accessible as possible for its growing customer base in the UAE of 600,000 customers, it said.

This includes launching a mobile app which lets customers complete banking transactions such as balance checks, local and international payments, checking card statements, payment of utility bills and applying for car, home and personal financing.

Philip King, UAE head of retail, said: “We are aware that having close access to a branch is important for our customers, as well as the online and mobile services we offer for their banking needs.

“We continually look for new and innovative ways to serve our growing customer base as well as ensuring our existing services remain accessible to all our customers.”

ADIB has the third largest retail network in the UAE with a total of 80 branches and more than 600 ATMs, he added. - TradeArabia News Service
