Riyadh Season 2024 draws record 13 million visitors

Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has announced that Riyadh Season 2024 had achieved a new milestone, with the number of visitors reaching 13 million.

This serves as a clear testament to the significant success and remarkable public turnout enjoyed by this global event, it stated.

This achievement reflects the distinctive diversity of the season's events, which kicked off last October and recently saw the opening of several popular areas, including "The Groves" and "Souq Al-Awaleen," remarked Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA).

These free zones blend authenticity and creativity, highlighting Saudi heritage, traditional crafts, and local cuisine, he stated.

The "Courchevel" area was also recently inaugurated within "Boulevard World," offering visitors an exceptional snowy experience.

Moreover, the historic rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, titled "Usyk vs Fury Reignited in Riyadh", attracted a massive crowd from both within the Kingdom and abroad, remarked Alalshikh.

Additionally, the opening of the new "BLVD Runway" area added another dimension to the success.

Created in collaboration with the Saudia Group, the area offers visitors an innovative journey blending aviation and entertainment, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
