The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA) will highlight key milestones in the sector and major developments under the Saudi Aviation Strategy, at the Bahrain International Airshow, to be held at Sakhir Airbase, in Bahrain, from November 13-15.
GACA will also showcase at the seventh edition of the event the unprecedented investment opportunities in Saudi aviation and emphasise the kingdom's global leadership in the industry, exemplified by the Future Aviation Forum, and the strategic bilateral and commercial agreements that will continue to drive the sector forward.
GACA spokesperson Ibtisam Alshehri, stressed GACA’s participation and its key role in developing regulations that enable growth and innovation in the aviation sector.
She also emphasised the progress of the Saudi Aviation Strategy, which aims to attract $100 billion in investments, by tripling passenger traffic to 330 million passengers and connecting the Kingdom to more than 250 destinations by 2030.
The event will see GACA presenting the CAESP – GACA’s Civil Aviation Environmental Sustainability Program which underlines its dedication to environmental sustainability.
Additionally, GACA’s participation aims to show key improvements in the passenger experience and operational procedures, next to passenger rights and cargo services, according to the highest standards of operation.
The Bahrain International Airshow 2024 is expected to welcome 11 sponsoring companies, 223 civilian and military delegations representing more than 56 countries and 60 regional and international companies, with more than 135 local, regional and international companies present at the event. – TradeArabia News Service
