Gulfstream Aerospace Corp has announced it will exhibit two of its next-generation business aircraft at the Bahrain International Airshow from November 13 to 15: the ultralarge-cabin Gulfstream G700 and the clean-sheet Gulfstream G500.
“Gulfstream continues to see strong demand in the Middle East and interest in our next-generation fleet remains high,” said Scott Neal, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Gulfstream.
“The G700 and G500 each provide a combination of advanced technology, cabin comfort and performance capabilities that continue to resonate with operators in the region. We are excited for our customers and guests to experience The Gulfstream Difference firsthand at the Bahrain International Airshow.”
Since entering service in April, the G700 has continued to showcase unparalleled maturity with type certificate validations in nine nations in addition to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certifications, along with increased flight hours and deliveries around the world. The aircraft features the industry’s most spacious cabin and can be configured with up to five living areas, seat up to 19 passengers and sleep up to 13. Equipped with Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, the G700 delivers ultralong range and speed, flying 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 km at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90. With a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, the G700 is the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet.
The G500 entered service in September 2018 and introduced the award-winning Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, which features safety enhancing technology including the industry’s first active control sidesticks and most extensive use of touch screens, along with Phase-of-Flight intelligence. The aircraft has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 and can fly 5,300 nm/9,816 km at Mach 0.85 or 4,500 nm/8,334 km at Mach 0.90.
Both aircraft provide the exceptional comfort of the Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100% fresh air, whisper-quiet sound levels, abundant natural light and a low cabin altitude.
