Le Meridien Dubai marks 45 years of service

Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre said its marking its 45th anniversary this September, celebrating a rich history of luxury, exceptional service, and continued innovation in the heart of Dubai.

To commemorate this milestone, Le Méridien Dubai is hosting a three-month-long campaign featuring special events and giveaways, including a 45th anniversary half board rate at AED 450, a sapphire-themed afternoon tea, an art exhibition and dine and win competition with grand prizes.

Since opening its doors in 1979, Le Méridien Dubai has become one of the first five-star hotels in Dubai. Spanning 15 hectares of lush landscapes, the hotel has grown from 300 rooms to 580 rooms and suites, including a 196-room Royal Club wing.

It boasts 17 food and beverage outlets, a state-of-the-art wellness and recreation centre, and 44,000 square feet of event space.

Founded to offer a five-star urban resort close to the airport, Le Méridien Dubai has consistently evolved. Over the decades, it has become a premier destination for both business travellers and families, offering extensive culinary options and top-tier conference facilities.

Le Méridien Dubai has continuously enhanced its guest experience, integrating advanced technology, offering diverse dining options, and providing modern wellness facilities. Sustainability initiatives such as a Green Key certification and cultural elements enrich the guest environment, reflecting the dynamic spirit of Dubai.

The hotel's diverse culinary offerings have become iconic, with 17 restaurants and bars, including the renowned Seafood Market, award-winning Kiku, Casa Mia, and Long Yin. These establishments have set high service standards, attracting both regular and new guests.

Looking ahead, the hotel is set to commence a significant leisure project in early 2025, enhancing outdoor landscapes and recreational spaces and creating a kid’s club.
