Chinese travel buyers set to make key business connections in Middle East

On September 5th and 6th, over 120 highly qualified Chinese travel trade buyers will converge with nearly 100 Middle Eastern travel suppliers in what is set to be the largest gathering of Chinese and regional travel industry executives in the Middle East, at SO/UPTOWN Dubai.

As China emerges as one of the fastest-growing inbound travel source markets to the Middle East, establishing connections with travel trade resellers in China is becoming a crucial component of any Middle Eastern travel supplier’s business development strategy.

Selecting the right industry leaders in China involves a complicated and long-term approach, requiring careful consideration of various factors that can determine success in attracting the appropriate Chinese travelers for specific business segments.

At the China Visitors Summit (CVS), all participating Chinese buyers, confirmed for doing business in the Middle East, are required to pay a registration fee of $500 and cover their own travel expenses, typically amounting to at least $2,000 per person. Additionally, they will spend an entire week engaging in the marketplace.

The CVS offers these buyers a unique opportunity to conduct site inspections of hotel properties and attractions, experience local culture and cuisine, and forge valuable connections for future long-term business development.

Travel supplying companies from throughout the Middle East can pick and choose the buyers that they want to meet with at the CVS. Each travel supplier will get 54 pre-confirmed meetings of their choice, along with ample networking opportunities each day at breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks, lunch and a gala dinner.

This exclusive two-day B2B event offers numerous face-to-face meetings and social networking opportunities. Chinese buyers attending the event hail from the Greater China region, including mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, making your market investment more cost-effective and efficient compared to traveling to China.

Since 2008, the CVS has connected travel suppliers from around the world in the Middle East, Europe, South East Asia, East Asia and North America with over 3,000 global Chinese travel industry buyers.
