This year's Ramadan celebrations in AlUla promise an array of enchanting and enriching experiences, from traditional iftars featuring authentic local cuisines to captivating cultural displays that illuminate the historic Incense Road.
AlJadidah Iftar
AlJadidah Iftar (March 22, 6pm to 8.30pm): The iftar at AlJadidah Arts District aims to cultivate the community spirit of Ramadan, ensuring that each co-host of the iftar is a resident of AlJadidah, providing an authentic taste of the local cuisine. Accommodating up to 70 individuals, the iftar is free to attend, but tickets are mandatory.
Stargazing by Husaak
Iftar and Stargazing by Husaak (until April 8, 4pm to 10.15pm): To be held beneath the night sky of AlUla, the iftar will be held in th remote beauty of the Gharameel area, surrounded by the remnants of towering rock pillars. Adventurous stargazers will break their fast with traditional Saudi cuisine, gathered around a warm campfire.
Fawazer Ramadan
Fawazer Ramadan (every Thursday and Friday, 10pm to 12am): There is a chance to learn more about Ramadan and the unity it inspires through this unique activity held during the first three weekends of the Holy Month. A small stage will be set up for presenters to engage the audience with riddles, and rewarding those who answer correctly with culturally relevant gifts that reflect Ramadan themes and AlUla's identity.
Okto Harrat Viewpoint
Okto Harrat Viewpoint (daily, 1pm to 3am): The Holy Month can be celebrated amid nature’s beauty at Harrat Viewpoint, the summit of a volcanic mountain that overlooks canyons, the lush oasis and rock formations. Amidst enchanting decorations, vibrant lanterns and elegant motifs, Okto Restaurant at the Harrat Viewpoint will remain open until 3am daily, offering a delightful blend of traditional and international cuisine.
Elephant Rock
Elephant Rock (Saturday to Wednesday, 6pm to 2am; Thursday and Friday: 6pm to 3am): Ramadan festivities will be held at Elephant Rock with captivating decorations throughout. The site opens from iftar, providing ample time for visitors to immerse themselves in the celebratory atmosphere. Key Café, Jolt Qaws, and Salt will be open, serving their offerings.

Ramadan Carts in AlJadidah (until April 9, 8pm to 2am): Discover a delightful array of food carts offering traditional Ramadan dishes meticulously prepared by local families. Ramadan Incense Road Lights (Until April 9, 8pm to 3am): The revived Incense Road at the arts and culture hub will be adorned with sparkling lights, intricate lanterns, and fragrant incense. Decorative tapestries and local AlUla food carts will further enhance the cultural celebration of Ramadan.
