Intech has secured a major project win with a leading FPSO operator in the West African deepwater field for modernising its fire and gas systems.
With decades of successful project execution in the region, Intech has made a name for itself by delivering solutions that are innovative, reliable, and always available.
The multi-vendor capabilities, extensive experience in delivering safety systems in similar environments, and a long-standing relationship with the client built on engineering excellence were pivotal in winning the project, the company said.
Intech will take a phased approach, with the initial phase involving the supply, design, engineering, installation, and construction of an upgraded fire and gas system consisting of a wide array of detectors and auxiliary equipment to safeguard turbo generators and turbo compressors on site.
Moreover, the scope will also include the installation of additional junction boxes and termination cables. In the second phase, Intech will integrate, commission, and conduct site acceptance testing to validate the seamless integration and intended functionality of the fire and gas system.
Intech’s Integrated Control Systems offer a complete array of vendor-neutral control automation and integration solutions ranging from basic process control, safety, F&G, and power management applications to data networks, site security, instrument management, and fully integrated control and safety systems. The company's third-party start-up and commissioning services ensure minimum downtime and accelerated glitch-free execution.
Intech’s ICS is a “One-Stop Automation Solution” that improves plant safety, reliability, and efficiency while lowering costs and increasing returns, the company added. -TradeArabia News Service
