The Abrahamic Family House - encompassing three separate houses of worship – a mosque, a church, and a synagogue – has been featured in TIME Magazine's annual list of the World’s Greatest Places, featuring 100 extraordinary destinations to visit and stay.
Located in the Saadiyat Cultural District in Abu Dhabi, the Abrahamic Family House began welcoming visitors from March 1, 2023.
To compile this list, TIME solicited nominations of places – including hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks, and more – from its international network of correspondents and contributors, as well as via an application process, with an eye toward those offering new and exciting experiences.
In the latest list, the Abrahamic Family House was featured as one of the exciting new places to visit.
In a statement TIME said: "Abu Dhabi’s Abrahamic Family House, combining a mosque, synagogue, and church aiming to promote mutual understanding, feels more important than ever."
"Opened to the public in March 2023 with a focus on peaceful coexistence and inter-faith learning and dialogue, the centre is also an active place of prayer for the United Arab Emirates’ Muslim, Jewish, and Christian communities, hosting more than 250,000 worshippers and visitors in its first year and upward of 250 community events," it added.-TradeArabia News Service
