SAMA headquarters gets LEED Gold green buildings certification

The Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) Riyadh headquarters said it has received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council following the completion of its renovation project.

LEED is the world’s most widely used green building rating system. It provides a framework for creating healthy, highly efficient, and cost-effective green buildings while delivering environmental, social, and governance benefits.

The LEED rating system evaluates and measures a facility’s environmental impact and performance through various criteria, including location, energy and water efficiency, carbon dioxide emissions, environmental responsibility, and operational efficiency.

This prestigious recognition underscores SAMA’s commitment to environmental sustainability and its alignment with Saudi Vision 2030’s sustainability goals.-TradeArabia News Service
