Nightingale Health Services, a healthcare group based in the UAE, said it has opened a dedicated physiotherapy centre at Dubai’s Gold & Diamond Park, a key development of Emaar properties located on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Spread over a 511,343 sq ft area, the park is an extension of the Jebel Ali Free Zone located on Sheikh Zayed Road, 23.5 km from Dubai International Airport.
Founded as Nightingale Home Nursing in 2016 by British-trained nurse Anna Mellor, the company was renamed Nightingale Health Services in 2019 to reflect its growing range of support from a specialised team of health professionals.
The new 2,000 sq ft. facility will be staffed by a team of physiotherapists and a chiropractor, offering treatment for musculoskeletal and cardio-respiratory conditions, sports injuries, neurological diseases, post-surgery rehab, pre and post-natal, elderly, and paediatric patients.
Founder and CEO Mellor said: "Since launching Nightingale five years ago, the way we have evolved has been incredibly rewarding. My original aim was to introduce a level of community care and support that was missing in the UAE."
"We quickly became a trusted private home care provider growing our team of DHA-licensed nurses from eight to 48, with plans to recruit another 20 during 2021," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
