Mansour...excited about new role at Towers Rotana Dubai

Towers Rotana Dubai appoints new GM

DUBAI, February 20, 2017

Towers Rotana Dubai, an iconic 375 room hotel located on Dubai’s prominent Sheikh Zayed Road, has appointed Hossam Mansour as its new general manager.

Mansour joined Rotana Hotels in 2013 as executive assistant manager at Fujairah Rotana Resort and Spa, Al Aqah Beach. In his most recent role, Mansour was general manager of Villa Rotana, a four-star hotel located on Sheikh Zayed Road, having first joined the property in this role in 2015. Prior to his appointment as general manager, he also held the position of executive assistant manager at Towers Rotana.

Commenting on his move, Lebanese-national Mansour said: “I’m delighted to embark on my second property as general manager and to return to Towers Rotana, an iconic hotel that is home to very well established food and beverage outlets including the famed, Teatro."

A Lebanese national, Mansour has over 20 years of hospitality experience in managerial positions across the GCC, North Africa and Turkey, having worked for international chains including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, and Starwood Hotels. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management and certificates from Cornell University.

He began his career in the hospitality industry with Forte Grand Abu Dhabi in 1997 as a management trainee, and then gradually moved on to serve as restaurant manager with Le Royal Meridien in Bahrain; food and beverage (F&B) manager with Marriott Tunisia; and director of F&B with Coral International, Dubai, before joining Hilton Hotels & Resorts in 2006 where he spent seven years as director of operations in Sharm Sheikh, Egypt and Ankara, Turkey. - TradeArabia News Service
