BAC chief named ‘Airport Personality of the Year’

Bahrain Airport Company's (BAC) chief executive officer, was named the 'Airport Personality of the Year' at the fifth annual edition of the Emerging Markets Airports Awards (EMMA) held recently in conjunction with the Emerging Airports Conference in Kuwait.
 
Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah was recognised for his contribution in advancing Bahrain International Airport as a prime gateway into the region and his persistent efforts in supporting Bahrain’s growth as a tourist and aviation hub in the Middle East, said a statement.
 
The annual EMAA event recognises product and service quality in the aviation industry across the Emerging Markets including the Middle East, Africa, Indian Subcontinent, Asia Pacific, Russia and the CIS states. 
 
This year’s awards distinguished excellence across ten categories of airport operations and personalities selected following a thorough assessment of applications received from a diverse group of professionals across the airports, aviation, aerospace, and cargo and logistics sectors. 
 
The award winners include some of the world's most unique airports and are selected by an expert panel of advisors and prominent journalists.
