Leading hotels Novotel and Ibis Gate Abu Dhabi have donated around 420 pillows and 18 bags full of clothes to the Red Crescent Society in UAE to support those affected and displaced by catastrophic worldwide events.

The humanitarian act witnessed complete partnership between the hotels with Accor Sustainable Development Initiative to come up with a set-of-plans for a donation programme that first aims to help displaced people worldwide by reusing the pillows and clothes and reduce waste at the same time, which contributes towards saving the environment.

“We would like to express gratitude to the Red Crescent of Abu Dhabi for giving us the ability to participate and meet some people who are displaced somewhere under the umbrella of the Red Crescent that need our help and support. We hope that this initiative would be an ongoing one by our hotels and others across the UAE and the world,” said Nicola Hochgruber, general manager, Novotel and Ibis Gate Abu Dhabi. – TradeArabia News Service
