Qantas airline is celebrating Australia’s national day and the success of the airline’s Dubai hub with a special performance by Tina Area on January 22.

Now in its second year with the airline as a title sponsor, G’Day Dubai brings together Australian companies and business people to build relationships and strengthen ties between Australia and the Gulf Region.

Qantas general manager for the region Rohan Garnett said: “Qantas is proud to be part of the G’Day Dubai celebrations. Dubai is now a major hub for Qantas providing a crucial link on our Kangaroo service between Australia and the United Kingdom. The Dubai route continues to receive the highest customer satisfaction anywhere on the Qantas International network with more than two million Qantas customers having travelled through the hub since it was launched almost two years ago.”

Our partnership with the Australian Business Council Dubai allows Qantas to build on our commitment to the region and provide a strong platform for growth. And we are very excited that one of Australia’s greatest singing exports, Tina Arena, will be joining us for our early celebrations to mark Australia Day,” added Garnett.

The celebrations will tee-off at sunrise with an event for golfing enthusiasts at the award winning Address Montgomerie Golf Club in Emirates Hills with a Two-Man Scramble. Music lovers will also enjoy a live performance by Tina Arena in addition to a DJ set by Australian talent Danny Faifai.

Held at Dubai’s premier Clé restaurant Al Fattan Currency House, DIFC, the performances will be complemented by a menu prepared by renowned Australian executive chef Greg Malouf as part of the gala performance. – TradeArabia News Service
