Amman, January 23, 2012

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has appointed Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon as its new country manager for Jordan.

“Amman has remained a thriving route since Gulf Air launched flights in 1976. Its longstanding strategic relevance means that Gulf Air handpicks the most suitable candidate to manage the airline’s operations in the Jordanian market,” said Karim Makhlouf, Gulf Air’s chief commercial officer.

“Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon, with his lengthy involvement in the aviation industry and his past experience with Gulf Air in particular, is the right person to manage this key position.”

With over 20 years’ experience and an in-depth, working knowledge of the Jordanian and regional market, Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon covered several management roles within Gulf Air. – TradeArabia News Service
