UAE firm buys equity in Asian cuisine specialist

DUBAI, November 30, 2016

Dubai-based management consultancy UAE Business Solutions said it has acquired a major equity in Royal Kebab Restaurant, an Asian cuisine specialist, to support its F&B (food and beverages) expansion strategy.

The first acquisition for the company, the asset is a strategic move to incorporate its restaurant consultancy division with investment opportunities across its portfolio.

UAE Business Solutions said it aims to identify and continue to shop for retailers and investors alike as the industry shifts to collaborative style business strategy.

Based in Dubai Media City, Royal Kebab is famous for its exquisite selection of authentic Indian cuisine and select Chinese dishes.

Established in 2014, Royal kebab serves a delicious menu for dine in, special events and outdoor catering services for corporate and private clients.

"The investment into Royal Kebab reflects our continued efforts to identify and strengthen our restaurant division through equity acquisition. This opportunity aligns perfectly with our expansion plans into Food service segment, which will continue to be significant in UAE," said Stephen Armitage, the managing partner at UAE Business Solutions.

"With this investment, we will build our restaurant division to offer both consultancy and investment portfolio for clients," he noted.

As an integral part of Dubai Legacy Restaurant Group, Royal Kebab has an established customer base and is currently undergoing a merger with Dubai-based Far Eastern restaurant to further diversify and enhance its consumer experience.

This strategic move will unite two long-standing brands for expansion plans across its dining, delivery and catering services.

Dubai Legacy Restaurant Group’s portfolio also includes Chinese outlet Wokman, 7 Spice, and British Indian outlet and Blue Monkey.

Dillon Daryanani, the commercial director, UBS Restaurant Division will bring his extensive F&B retailing experience to all aspects of this transaction and manage both restaurants once the merger is complete as well as continue to assist new restaurant owners in market research, set ups and operations.-TradeArabia News Service
