Final warning sent out to Muharraq traders

MANAMA, January 7, 2016

A final warning has gone out to seven traders standing in the way of a long-stalled redevelopment of one of Bahrain’s oldest markets. They have been blamed for delaying the multi-million-dinar upgrade of Muharraq Central Market by refusing to budge for the past two years despite being offered a temporary location in Hassan bin Thabet Public Park, where grocers had been relocated earlier last year, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
