Shaklan Group has has opened its seventh supermarket at the Al Bustan Centre in Dubai, UAE.  

The newest branch was inaugurated by Shaklan sponsor Mohammad Essa Mohd Al Samt; Aboo Haris Manchapunathil, managing director, Shaklan Group; and Moussa El Hayek, chief operating officer, Al Bustan Centre and Residence.  

The 12,040-sq-ft hypermarket has a fresh food section for fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meat, fish, poultry, frozen, groceries, confectionery and choices of dry fruits and nuts, household products, health and beauty, kid’s toys, undergarments, electronics, ready-to eat food and other consumer items, all under one roof.

Manchapunathil said the Shaklan Group has been in operation since 1997 and it came into retail business 18 years back. “From a single store, the group grew with innovative trading practices to multilevel customer friendly supermarkets and hypermarkets.”

With the opening of Shaklan Hypermarket in Al Bustan Centre, the property now has 96 outlets.  –TradeArabia News Service
