New Samsung vacuum cleaner targets allergens

Dubai, February 14, 2011

Samsung Electronics has launched a new multi-cyclone vacuum cleaner designed after extensive study for the removal of harmful allergens from the home.

At a power of 1600 W, the new Samsung Aquatic (SD9420) utilizes a revolutionary water filtration process in conjunction with Samsung’s Aqua multi-chamber system to achieve vacuuming beyond the superficial clean.

Samsung has designed the Aquatic to specifically remove the harmful allergens which are invisible to the naked eye, a statement said.

It features Aqua Cyclone, the innovative technology created by Samsung for complete allergy care. The Aqua Cyclone is a process that creates a strong circular movement of both air and water.

The uniquely designed chamber makes a cyclone of air, which generates a powerful whirlpool inside the chamber. This improves the water’s filtering performance and helps to separate and capture dust. The combined actions of the water filter and the Aqua Cyclone removes harmful allergens, and prevents them from scattering when emptying the chamber, the statement said.

Furthermore, its unique two-step filtration system catches the microscopic dust particles that other vacuums leave behind. It also has an enhanced filtration process that prevents blockage and provides greater efficiency, it added.

The Aquatic also offers various optional features for greater convenience such as an infra-red remote on the handle for easy power control, soft rubber wheels to prevent scratching, an automatic cord-rewinder/carrying-handle, washable & detachable HEPA filters for greater hygienic performance and cost savings, and optional brushes for every occasion, according to the statement. – TradeArabia News Service
