Lebanon is gearing up to host its third International Oil & Gas Summit, which will take place at the Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand this May under the patronage of Eng. Cesar Abi Khalil, Minister of Energy and Water.

Launched in 2012 to support Lebanon’s initial findings and to explore the potential of the country’s hydrocarbon resources, the Lebanon International Oil & Gas Summit (LIOG) provides a meeting place for industry executives and experts to gain invaluable insight to the opportunities presented in Lebanon; the challenges and the road ahead for companies and investors.

The third edition of this important summit will highlight the huge progress by Lebanon’s new government in recent weeks to advance Lebanon’s vast oil and gas potential after developing highly advanced world-class regulatory and operational frameworks for this nascent industry

The LIOG Summit programme is being developed in close consultation with the Lebanese Petroleum Administration who will lead key sessions in the conference alongside industry leaders and global experts from around the world. It will provide a platform for all stakeholders across the oil and gas supply chain, featuring:

• Opening ceremony and VIP reception - Led by Ministers from across the region, the whole event will gather for the opening ceremony followed by a tour of the exhibition.
• Strategic conference - Held alongside the exhibition, industry leaders will gather to present and discuss the latest opportunities and challenges in a highly informative conference led by the region’s governments.
• Networking - Throughout LIOG, an emphasis is placed on interaction between all participants of the event. Each exhibitor automatically gets a pass to the conference and there will be a series of social events to ensure the best possible access to everyone who matters to your business.
• International exhibition - The commercial centrepiece of LIOG will enable local and international exhibitors to network with everyone they need to meet for their business; new and existing customers, partners and product users and buyers who are all looking for products and services.

The summit will take place froom May 9-10 and is held in collaboration with the Lebanese Petroleum Administration.
