Linde signs Iran petrochemical plant deal

TEHRAN, August 3, 2016

Iran-based Kian Petrochemical Company has signed a front end engineering design (Feed) deal with Germany's Linde Group for the construction of an olefin, butadiene, hydrodealkylation and benzene unit.

The deal was signed recently at a ceremony attended by Marzieh Shahdaei, deputy oil minister for petrochemical affairs and head of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), and some Linde executives, added the Iran Daily News report, citing Shana.

The project will be completed in 12 months at a cost of €34.940 million ($39.17 million) in financial credit, added the report.
