The work on the LNG Storage Hub is progressing according to schedule.

This announcement was made by Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and LNG Impel in response to the Zawya Dow Jones news report published in the Gulf News last week.

Several sites are being considered for the actual location of the project, the statement added.

'The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre and LNG Impel continue to work together on the LNG Storage Hub project, and are very happy with the progress to date,' an official added.

'As to site location, we are bound by a number of confidentiality agreements and can only state that we have always had an initial primary site as well as several alternate sites which would be suitable.'Trade Arabia News Service
