Porsche Centre Dubai to showcase rarely seen models

DUBAI, October 7, 2015

Local sports car enthusiasts in Dubai have been invited to experience a range of rarely seen Porsche models with a static display event at Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles, for a limited time.

The range of exclusive highlights will include the 911 GT3 RS, the Cayman GT4 and the now-legendary Porsche 919 Hybrid, said a statement.

The programme, which will run from October 8 to 10, will showcase four key pillars of Porsche’s brand values: heritage, motorsport, performance and E-Mobility through a range of informative displays.

Vijay Rao, general manager of Porsche Centre Dubai, said: “The ‘Fascination Sports Car’ event is a great way to showcase the foundation of our brand. For over 65 years, Porsche has been driven by the dream of engineering the perfect sports car.

"This principle originates on the racetrack and is embodied in every single Porsche vehicle. It’s a journey that has brought countless racing victories and created the unmistakable Porsche DNA. The limited display event is a chance for all sports car enthusiasts to join us and explore this DNA.”

Highlighting Porsche’s innovative advancements in E-Mobility, the Panamera S E-Hybrid, donated to the Dubai Police, will be among the cars on display, said the statement.

The parallel plug-in hybrid model will provide a total concept that networks the car and its driver in an intelligent way, it said.

The visitors can also enjoy an exclusive preview of the 911 Black Edition, in addition to a number of model displays from the Porsche GTS and Turbo ranges.

Complementing the activities at the showroom will be a Service Clinic where Porsche customers will be able to take full advantage of a number of privileges, including several complementary vehicle checks, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
