Bahrain amends private sector labour law
MANAMA, December 25, 2015
His Majesty King Hamad of Bahrain has issued a law amending the kingdom's Labour Law for the private sector, which has been approved by the National Assembly.
According to the amendment, the employer may terminate the labour contract as a result of the total or partial closure of the establishment, the downsizing of its activities or the replacement of the production system in a way that affects the number of workforce.
