Noodles at the Rosewood Corniche

Jeddah, November 12, 2007

Rosewood Corniche, the newly opened luxurious hotel from Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in Jeddah, has launched Noodles restaurant.

Overseen by executive chef Peter K Steiner, the new restaurant prides itself in the delivery of freshly prepared dishes in the open show kitchen which creates an interactive and educational experience for diners, the hotel said in a statement.

Families are actively encouraged at Noodles with The Kiddies Bar which brings children closer to the action with chopstick classes, noodle-making lessons and the company of other children to keep them entertained while their parents relax and enjoy the great food, the hotel said.

“We believe Noodles offers something different and innovative for Jeddah’s residents and visitors,” said Rosewood Corniche Managing Director Hans-Peter Leitzke. “At Rosewood we pride ourselves in delivering quality food which is individually and freshly prepared and served in beautiful surroundings.  The level of service our guests will receive and the atmosphere we have created will set new standards for all restaurants in Jeddah.”

The restaurant recently hosted the “Annual Gathering for the most highly regarded media Ladies in Jeddah”, an event designed to celebrate the achievements of women in the media. More than 50 ladies attended the celebration, which was supported by Givenchy who offered each guest an Ange Ou Etrange perfume gift.

Designed for both business and leisure travel, Rosewood Corniche is ideally positioned on Jeddah’s Corniche, one of the city’s most impressive districts. The Jeddah Corniche runs parallel to the Red Sea for over 20 miles, and provides convenient access to the city’s business and leisure areas.  As the only ultra-luxury hotel in Jeddah, the stunning Rosewood Corniche redefines modern elegance and offers unparalleled personal service and world-class amenities, the hotel said.

The hotel, which opened in September 2007, offers guests new levels of personalised service and features Saudi Arabia’s first dedicated Ladies’ Floor, which is reserved exclusively for female travellers.  Female butlers pack and unpack ladies’ luggage, provide information about the city’s facilities for women and assist in all other needs to ensure the complete comfort of female visitors.

In another hotel "first", staff wear uniforms designed by international fashion icon and haute couture designer, Yehya Al Bishri, whose collection has been worn by Saudi Royals and the Prince of Wales. – TradeArabia News Service
