Prince Khalid bin Al Waleed

Startup portal features story on iOS, Android

Manama, April 20, 2014

Startup Bahrain, one of the region's first and only independent digital publications on new businesses, launched its latest issue on iOS and Android devices.

It features a phenomenal, first-of-its-kind, two-hour interview with Prince Khalid bin Al Waleed bin Talal, one of the region's leading investors and entrepreneurs, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

It focuses on details of the prince's investments, his life and interests.

"This is by far, the most inspiring interview we've ever had," said Startup Bahrain founder and editor-in-chief Ahmed Al Sawafiri.

"I think this should be an essential read for all entrepreneurs and investors. Prince Khaled has shown vast knowledge in the worlds of investing and entrepreneurship," he said.

The new issue also introduces two new sections, 'Startup Opinions' and 'Startup Tips' with the former being in the form of a question revolving around a hot topic posed to six different entrepreneurs and the latter, concise and specific guides on things startups should know.

Startup Bahrain April issue and all other issues are available for free download on iPhones, iPads and Android devices. This is made possible through the sponsorship of Tamkeen Bahrain, VIVA Bahrain and Bahrain Development Bank.

With currently more than 6,000 subscribers, Startup Bahrain aims to serve Bahrain and the region's entrepreneurs and SMEs to build a platform that connects them with one another and with those who may help, support and inspire their businesses. – TradeArabia News Service
