Immensa wins ISO certification in 3D printing

DUBAI, August 19, 2017

UAE-based Immensa Technology Labs, a leading additive manufacturing (AM or 3D printing) company, has recently been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification in the field of ‘Design and Additive Manufacturing Services.’

The certification makes Immensa Technology Labs the first 3D printing company in the Middle East and one of only a few in the world to be recognised with the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard.

Fahmi Al-Shawwa, CEO of Immensa Technology Labs, said: “Following months of challenging work and external audits, we are delighted to have been awarded this ISO certification, which is a testament to the exceptional quality and global competitiveness of our services. While the region has lagged behind the rest of the world in the adoption and integration of 3D printing technology, Immensa has forged ahead and bridged the gap by offering cutting-edge services that are on par with the top international providers out there. We are proud to be one of a few3D printing companies internationally with this certification.”

To be granted the ISO 9001:2015certification, organisations are required to implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that encompasses all facilities, services, equipment and employees, as well as regular inspections and audits. Immensa’s ISO certification marks a turning point for the AM industry, further cementing its position as a viable, effective and high quality alternative to traditional manufacturing methods.

“Above all, our ISO certification allows us to provide our customers with a robust quality guarantee. By unlocking the extraordinary potential of 3D printing and its myriad benefits across all fields of business, offering it to customers in the UAE and abroad,” Al-Shawwa concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
