BFGoodrich Tires, a leading tyre manufacturing company, has announced the launch of its tyre product line for trucks and buses in the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

The BFGoodrich Truck Tires portfolio will feature commercial truck tyres that cover highway, regional and on/off-road applications, said a statement from the company.

This broad range of products will be sold through a strong network of specialised dealers, it said.

BFGoodrich will be offering the BFGoodrich Route Control and BFGoodrich Cross Control patterns in the region, which have been mainly manufactured in Europe, said a statement.
         
The BFGoodrich Route Control truck tyre is designed specifically for regional and highway use, offering an even tread wear for end-users in and out of the city.

The BFGoodrich Cross Control truck tyre is designed specifically for both on-road and off-road use, offering end-users a durable and cut-resistant product performance for the most demanding usage conditions

Shantanu Deshpande, marketing director of truck and bus tires for Michelin Africa, India and the Middle East (AIM), said: “BFGoodrich is delighted to bring its truck and bus tyre offer to the Middle East and Africa markets, which play an important part in our global growth story.”

From September onwards, the BFGoodrich Route Control tyre will be available in 14 sizes; while the BFGoodrich Cross Control tyre will be available in five sizes for the Middle East and Africa markets, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
