100 firms to attend Saudi coffee, chocolate event

RIYADH, August 18, 2016

More than 100 domestic and international firms and specialist entrepreneurs in the coffee and chocolate industry will attend the International Coffee & Chocolate Exhibition, to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later this year.

The event will take place from December 20 to 23, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The organising committee of the exhibition, which is being held for the third year in a row, revealed that they have increased the size of exhibition area by 100 per cent more of what it was in the past few years, reaching 7,781 sq m display area, said a statement.

Participations will include many of the leading chocolate and coffee makers and dealers and international brands agents, besides representatives of global chocolate companies in the region who are participating in the exhibition to demonstrate the visibility of their brands and their strong presence in the Gulf and Arab market, it said.

Additionally, the participants will aim to enhance communication with their customers In addition to display all the coffee and chocolate kits as making and preparation machines and other modern technologies that fascinates coffee and chocolate lovers, it added.
 
The participants this year will include Brazil, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Oman and UAE, said a statement.

The exhibition aims to attract investors, suppliers and seeking new investments in this vital sector to open new horizons for entrepreneurs so that puts the kingdom on the map of commodity producing countries of coffee and chocolate instead of being consuming nation to conform to National Transformation Program 2020 and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, especially since it is known that the kingdom have more than 70 thousand coffee trees from the finest in the world that decorate Jazan mountains accompanied by cocoa trees which Faifa region development authority successfully planted in the first experiment of its kind in the Arab world that aims to present this product to the world to achieve economic development for the kingdom.

The exhibition will also organise many surprises to engage visitors and lovers of coffee and chocolate in the largest recreational demonstration. There will also be training courses and workshops, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
