Kapci's new factory to be the exporting hub for
South Asian region

Egyptian coatings maker builds $12.5m Indian plant

CAIRO, November 27, 2015

Kapci, an Egyptian paints and coatings manufacturer, has invested $12.5 million on a new factory in India, which will begin operations within the second half of next year, according to a report.
 
The 50,000-m factory has been built in Banglare, sound of India, Mohamed Rateb, sales and marketing manager was quoted as saying in the Amwal Alghad report.
 
The facility will be the exporting hub, where Kapci’s products can reach the South Asian region, backed by India’s free trade agreement with the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), it said.
 
Additionally, it will contribute to boost the group's exports to the country, which currently stands at $3.5 billion.
