Engie partners with Louvre Abu Dhabi to launch its E4 event

Engie, a global low-carbon energy company, has become a Corporate Member of Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first universal museum in the Arab World,
 
As part of the Corporate Membership programme with the museum, Engie held its E4 event, which provided government and industry leaders with valuable insights into how to accelerate the journey to net zero. 
 
Led by CEO Catherine MacGregor, E4 showcased the most impactful and cost-effective decarbonisation solutions being put into practice today and other innovative solutions that support industries and businesses in overcoming decarbonisation challenges. The event provided attendees with an unrivalled opportunity to network with peers.
 
Perfect setting
“Headquartered in France and an energy partner to the Middle East, Engie is delighted to be a corporate member of Louvre Abu Dhabi, which features important artworks and artefacts spanning the entirety of human history around the world,” said Frederic Claux, Thermal and Supply Managing Director for Asia, Middle East and Africa at Engie. 
 
“With this in mind, Louvre Abu Dhabi provides the perfect setting to discuss the regional path to net zero ahead of COP28, which will be hosted in the UAE. Climate change is now one of humanity’s most pressing concerns. Still, with the commitment, skills and technical capabilities of government and business leaders in the Middle East, the region can lead global decarbonisation efforts,” Claux added.
