BNET celebrates Bahraini Women's Day in style

MANAMA, December 1, 2022

BNET, the national broadband network responsible for the design, construction and operation of fiber infrastructure. marked the Bahraini Women’s Day in style with a special event celebrating the achievements of its female employees.
 
In line with the framework of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of the Bahraini Women’s Day (which falls on December 1), the broadband network group expressed appreciation and gratitude to its female employees for their distinguished efforts in contributing to the organisation’s outputs and the meritorious role they play in various departments within the company. 
 
BNET said Bahraini women have been able to achieve many pioneering and distinguished achievements and contributions under the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa president of Supreme Council for Women.
 
Amal Saleh AlMannai, Director Talent Management & Development, said: "This is an important national event that celebrates Bahraini women’s achievements, as it sheds light on the contributions of Bahraini women in shaping the identity of a modern society that looks to the future and aims to maintain equality principles in the national development process."
 
"It is to celebrate the achievements of Bahraini women in various fields, and to culminate the prominent role in building the renaissance of our beloved kingdom," he added.
 
To mark the special day, BNET hosted a "Mosaic Mirrors Workshop" for its female employees to highlight creative abilities and create colourful work of art using small pieces of colored glass.
 
"Our team consists of the best Bahraini female talents who work together to achieve the kingdom's vision for the telecommunications sector. BNET is very proud of its female employee percentage, which has increased to 36% of the total work force, including women in senior positions in executive management," she added.-TradeArabia News Service
