Schneider Electric names new MEA president

LONDON, December 20, 2016

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has appointed Caspar Herzberg as the president of its newly-formed Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, effective January 1.

In a bid to refuel growth, boost organisational efficiency and better leverage opportunities in the existing Africa & Caribbean and Middle East and Central Asia regions, Schneider Electric has merged these two markets into a single MEA region.

In his new role, Herzberg will oversee all of the company’s business operations within the region.

An industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, Herzberg had joined Schneider Electric in April 2016 to lead the Africa and Caribbean operation.

Prior to this, he was vice-president of Cisco Consulting Services for Asia Pacific, China and Japan. He has also served in various sales and delivery roles for Cisco and Accenture worldwide.
