MANAMA, September 6, 2016

Leading Bahraini developers such as Diyar Al Muharraq and Manara Developments will be showcasing their key projects at the Cityscape Global real estate expo which opened today in Dubai.

The landmark developments will all be on display during the three-day event in the Bahrain Pavilion.

At Cityscape, all these developers will get a wider platform and an opportunity to showcase their projects to international real estate investors.

Soon after the opening of the Cityscape Global 2016 expo, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the Bahrain Pavilion and was updated on the projects.

The kingdom is showcasing four landmark projects - Diyar Al Muharraq, an innovative urban development including the distinctive Dragon City; Bahrain Bay, a waterfront district at the heart of the capital Manama; Durrat Al Bahrain, a hallmark island city; and Hasabi, a project under Manara Developments, a real estate development company with a portfolio of residential and light industrial sector projects.

The $3.2-billion Diyar Al Muharraq is a unique master-planned city surrounded by 40 km of waterfront and beaches with a range of housing and quality lifestyle options.

The project offers a comprehensive blend of residential and commercial properties, hotels, schools and hospitals; aimed at creating a long-term, sustainable and attractive township for people.

Bahrain Bay, a $2.5-billion waterfront real estate development on the northern coastline of Manama, is a mixed-use development designed to include residential, commercial, retail, tourism, and community facilities and public amenities.

Manara said it is showcasing its portfolio of projects worth an estimated $2.6 billion, comprising  mixed-use, residential, commercial and light-industrial developments in Bahrain.

The developer strives to deliver socially-aware projects designed to create a sustainable environment for the community to thrive.

The $6-billion Durrat Al Bahrain, located on the south coast of the country, is a mixed-use development  offering a selection of residential accommodations, offices, luxury hotels and spa resorts, parks and entertainment areas, mosques and international schools, premier retail malls and restaurants, as well as “Durrat Marina”.

Also present at Bahrain Pavilion is the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC), an iconic landmark in Manama.

Strategically situated on the Manama waterfront in the heart of the kingdom’s primary business centre, BWTC offers proximity to several banks and ministries, the Diplomatic Area, and Manama, the financial centre.

The exclusive Moda Mall is also one of the main attractions of the property, offering first class shopping and dining options.-TradeArabia News Service
