The volume of Dubai's non-oil foreign trade
amounted to $176 billion in H1 2016.

Dubai, India trade hits $13 billion in H1

DUBAI, November 20, 2016

The value of non-oil trade between Dubai, UAE and India stood at about Dh48 billion ($13 billion) in the first half of 2016, accounting for 7 per cent of the Emirate’s total non-oil foreign trade during the period, said Dubai Customs.

The volume of Dubai's non-oil foreign trade amounted to Dh647 billion in the same period.

According to the Dubai Customs statement received by Emirates News Agency, Wam, Dubai's foreign trade with India in the first half of 2016 included imports worth Dh29 billion, exports valued at Dh6 billion and re-exports worth Dh13 billion.

Ahmed Abdul Salam Kazim, senior manager, Strategy and Corporate Excellence at Dubai Customs, said that that the Customs is keen to support Dubai's foreign trade with India to strengthen the role of Dubai as an international and regional hub for international trade. – TradeArabia News Service
