Riyadh Marriott unveils new look rooms

Riyadh Marriott Hotel has announced the completion of Phase I of its newly renovated rooms, representing one third of the hotel’s total room count.

This follows the recently renovated hotel lobby, the hotel’s popular Najd Ballroom, and the opening of signature steak restaurant Terrace Grill.

Every room has been equipped with a unique jack pack technology which utilizes Picture in Picture (PIP) functionality allowing the guest to watch television and use the TV a laptop monitor at the same time, a statement said.

The plug-in technology is fully compatible with the way the guest works, plays and get things done. The guests can check in, then plug in and watch as the room adapts to their own style, the statement said.

The LCD TV screens in the new rooms are 32-inch with a swiveling base and IP features. The internet has been upgraded with new fiber optic cables allowing super-fast connectivity in every room, according to the statement.

“This renovation provides today’s performance-driven travelers with the most up-to-date and desirable ambiance and amenities that they look for in a hotel when planning their trips,” said Khaldoun Hayajneh, general manager of Riyadh Marriott Hotel.

Riyadh Marriott offers 391 rooms, is just minutes away from major shopping malls, and is within easy access to the King Khalid International Airport. Leisure facilities include a heated indoor pool and a health club with a sauna and tennis court.

The hotel offers 22 meeting rooms which can be set up in various styles, accommodating anywhere from 10 to 1350 persons. There are also two ballrooms with a seating capacity of up to 1500 guests, two large foyer areas for pre-event activities and coffee breaks, as well as state-of-the art audio-visual equipment. – TradeArabia News Service
