Bin Majid to open luxury hotel in RAK

UAE-based Bin Majid Hotels, a growing chain of hotels in the region, plans to open its  luxury property, Santorini Hotel, at Marjan Island, the first man-made island project in Ras Al Khaimah, by the end of this year.

Santorini Hotel will offer 265 rooms and suites, all elegantly and stylishly designed to meet the demands of both business and leisure guests from the Middle East and around the globe, said a company statement.

The luxury property will boast of posh restaurants, spa, gym, swimming pools and will have direct access to the beach. Santorini Hotel will be an ideal location for weekend trips and long holidays, it stated.

Announcing this at the ITB, the world’s largest travel and trade show in Germany, Dr Ali Kasapbashi, the general manager of Bin Majid Group, said, “We are pleased to announce the addition of Santorini Hotel to our existing properties in Ras Al Khaimah. This new property will cater to the demands of both leisure and business guests who are looking at Ras Al Khaimah as a new tourism destination."

Bin Majid has four hotels in Ras Al Khaimah. Spanning the length and breadth of the city, gracing important beaches, city and industrial areas each Bin Majid Beach Hotels offers the luxury of service, the peak of Arabic hospitality, superb locations, modern amenities and business facilities.

"This new development is part of our goal to expand the brand in the region. It has been a very good start for 2013 and we can’t wait to welcome all to the new property when it opens by end of this year,” remarked Dr Kasapbashi.
