Lufthansa cuts online fares to Europe

Lufthansa German Airlines has slashed its online fares to over 20 European destinations from Dubai or Abu Dhabi, including major holiday periods of the year.

Fares to Europe start from Dh2,220 ($604.2) inclusive of taxes and charges on economy class, a statement from the airline company said.

Passengers from Dubai travelling via Frankfurt and Munich, or Abu Dhabi via Frankfurt can take advantage of the new lower online fares to Europe which is valid for travel any day until August 31, with return dates up to and including November 30.

The offer period covers spring and summer breaks, and Eid Al Fitr.  Passengers can purchase their tickets via www.lufthansa.com.

“Holidays are meant to be an enjoyable experience, and we at Lufthansa would like our customers to begin their journeys in style, by providing attractive online fares and special offers to over 20 great European destinations,” said Peter Pollak, Lufthansa’s general manager for UAE and director for Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraq.

“On ground, passengers can enjoy seamless travel with online and mobile check-in, and once on board they will experience the comfort of our services, whichever class they chose to fly.  On arrival at our gateways in Frankfurt and Munich, Lufthansa customers can then take advantage of simple and worry-free access to any of their chosen European destinations.”

Aside from Frankfurt (Dh2,390) and Munich (Dh2,220), other destinations included in the offer are Paris (Dh2,470), London (Dh2,820), and Barcelona (Dh2,400), as well as more than 15 other European capitals, and holiday and business destinations.

Lufthansa flies 21 times a week between UAE and Germany, with daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Frankfurt and daily services between Dubai to Frankfurt and Munich. – TradeArabia News Service
