BA unveils special Ramadan fares

British Airways is offering UAE travellers discounted fares to seven exciting destinations across Europe (including London), the US and Canada during Ramadan with rates starting from Dh2,840 ($773) onwards.

These special fares can be booked in World Traveller (economy), World Traveller Plus (premium economy), Club World (business class) and First cabins by July 8 for travel untill August 20, said a statement from the British airline, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary of flying to the Middle East.

For those travelling to London and Paris from the UAE, the fares start from Dh2,840 in World Traveller, Dh5,110 in World Traveller Plus, Dh12,030 in Club World and Dh22,480 in First.

To fly across the Atlantic to the US, it will cost from Dh4,660 in World Traveller, Dh7,740 in World Traveller Plus, Dh13,680 in Club World and Dh30,760 in First.

To Canada, fares start from Dh4,660 in World Traveller, Dh7,740 in World Traveller Plus, Dh13,680 in Club World and Dh30,760 in First. All the fares are for return flights and include taxes, fees and surcharges.

Commenting on the promotion, Paolo De Renzis, the BA regional commercial manager, Middle East said: “The summer is always a busy travel period in the Middle East, with many travellers visiting their families overseas during the school holidays, escaping the Middle Eastern heat or just enjoying a well-earned summer vacation.”

"The customers can also take advantage of the special fares to cheer on their home team at the Olympics in London, which runs from July 27 to August 12. Or if sport is not your thing, enjoy a shopping spree in the world’s fashion capital, New York," he remarked.

The airline, he said, is also offering discounted fares to Paris, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto and Vancouver.

“British Airways has a very extensive route network and provides UAE travellers with great connections to Europe, the US and Canada via London. These destinations are very popular with both business and leisure travellers from the UAE,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
