Hyundai wins $1.9bn Abu Dhabi contract

Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company has clinched a contract worth 2.1 trillion won ($1.9 billion) from Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company to build deep-sea oil transportation and treatment facilities at its oil field in the UAE.

The South Korean builder said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday that as per the contract, deep-sea oil transportation and treatment facilities will be constructed at the Satah Al Razboot (SARB) oil field.

The project is expected to be completed in 54 months starting from this March.-Reuters
