Luxury automotive manufacturer Land Rover unveiled its 2014 line-up and limited edition Defender LXV in the region at the Dubai International Motor Show recently.

Robin Colgan, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover Mena, said: “Jaguar Land Rover has seen a remarkable transformation since the last Dubai Motor Show in 2011 when we first launched the Range Rover Evoque, a vehicle that now accounts for around one third of all Land Rovers sold globally.  

“Since then, we have gone from strength to strength in the region, with Land Rover sales up 38 per cent for the first half of our fiscal year.”

“With the runaway success of our recently introduced Range Rover and all-new Range Rover Sport, we are confident that our latest line-up will attract visitors of this year’s show and will continue to take the brand to new heights in the region.”

Amjad Saeed, general manager of Mahmoudia Motors, the sole and official dealer of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands in Jordan, said: “The Dubai International Motor Show 2013 is the ideal event to reveal the new models, and we are extremely excited to introduce them to the Jordanian market.” - TradeArabia News Service
