Shift Leasing wins ISO certification

Shift Leasing & Car Rental, a leading player in the UAE car rental and leasing segment and a member of the AW Rostamani Group, has recently been awarded with ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Michel Ayat, the CEO of AWRostamani Automotive, received the certificate from Brian Baxter, a representative of Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, at a recent ceremony.
“We are extremely pleased to have been awarded the ISO 9001:2008. Receiving such a prestigious certification is testament that the quality of our management system is in place and will act as a catalyst for further growth,” said Ayat after getting the certification.
Ashish Nanda, the general manager of Shift Leasing, said, “Since our inception we have made provisions for ensuring distinction in sales and services rendered. We are happy to have attained the recognition and will use this accreditation to continue striving for operational excellence which is one of our pillars for being a world class organization.”
According to Nanda, Shift Leasing has enjoyed remarkable growth in a relatively short period of time, increasing its fleet size to over 4,000 vehicles across 6 locations in the UAE.
Accreditation adds to a long line of accolades the company has achieved that also includes ‘Best Rent a Car’ by the Road & Transport Authority (RTA) in the category of companies operating a fleet size greater than 2,000 units, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
