Petrol bombs destroy 59 cars in Bahrain warehouse

Several passenger cars in a warehouse were destroyed by petrol bombs thrown at them by saboteurs in Bahrain's Sitra district this morning.

The incident at the Hyundai warehouse occurred around 3 in the morning.
 
A group of "terrorists" who stormed the warehouse, threw petrol bombs at cars, the Ministry of Interior website said quoting the director general of police, Central Governorate. 
 
It said police patrols that went to the site on tip-off at 2:55 am found two guards handcuffed and blindfolded. The group had entered the premises after assaulting the guards.
 
The police also found a number petrol bombs (Molotov cocktails) in the site. Preliminary information indicated that 59 cars were damaged, it said.
 
The warehouse can stock up to 100 cars, said a source. But it was not full at the time of the incident.
 
The incident comes on the heels of Monday's serial blasts, which left two people dead and another seriously injured.
