RAK Ceramics launches new collection

Dubai, September 29, 2011

Leading ceramic tiles and bathware manufacturing company RAK Ceramics has launched its ‘Elena’ bathware suite, a new collection that caters to the European market.

The company made the announcement during its participation at the recently concluded Cersaie – International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings 2011, in Bologna, Italy.

RAK Ceramics built a 100-sq m stand for its exclusive bathware collection, which generated an overwhelming response from target audiences across Europe, resulting in positive response from clients and distributors, the company said in a statement.

RAK Ceramics, which booked a total of 400 sq m of exhibition space, also constructed the separate 100-sq m stand using tiles from its ‘Elegance Ceramics’ collection, to showcase its ceramic tile designs that also attracted huge crowds.

With the launch of the Elena Bathware collection, RAK Ceramics further expanded its specialised product range developed exclusively for the European market.

The company launched its ‘Opulence’ collection earlier this year in Europe. The Elegance range of products includes impero, joyful, hilow, metal wood and vibe amongst the latest vibrant tile designs which were launched at Cersaie.

Dr Khater Massaad, CEO, RAK Ceramics, said: “RAK Ceramics has prepared extensively to deliver a truly inspirational presentation of our latest tile collections and designs during the Cersaie exhibition. The launch of the new bathware collection was a major highlight that helped generate greater interest from existing and potential customers in Europe. The huge visitor turnout has certainly allowed us to easily exceed our sales targets during the event.”

RAK Ceramics is a $1 billion global conglomerate that supplies to over 150 countries and has been officially recognised as the world’s largest ceramic tile manufacturer with a global production output of 117 million sq m.
