The Bahrain eGovernment Authority (eGA) is set to organise a workshop on April 22 & 23 where experts will discuss ways to spearhead change and improve processes with agile new frameworks.

The workshop entitled ‘Agile Business Analysis & Improvements’ is being held as part of Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2014 activities. Leading local, regional and international eGovernment experts will take part.  

The workshop will thoroughly shed lights on how to drive change and improve processes with agile new frameworks such as scrum centers, utilizing task scheduling and cost-risk analysis.

The speakers’ list includes well-renowned speakers and representatives of advanced global eGovernments such as Dr  Helge Janicke, the head of Software Technology Research Laboratory at De Montfort University and John Moore, an expert in business intelligence.

Dr Janicke is a software engineer who has worked with agile development techniques over the past decade. He provides consultancy, training and coaching for agile teams; and is exceptionally experienced as an instructor who has been providing training courses in Learning Tree for several years.

Using an interactive and participative method, Dr Helge will explain the agile framework to consolidate the concepts covered by the workshop so that audience attain the highest value of benefit.

John Moore, the second speaker of this workshop, provides business intelligence support with a career that has spanned over 40 years in the IT industry. Starting in the telemetry engineering environment, his job spectrum has taken a route through the commercial world of banking and the political world of the United Nations.

Eight specialized workshops will be held at the Bahrain International eGovernment forum with each covering 16 hours arranged in two days. It will be running over the second and third day (April 22 & 23) of the forum, said the organisers.

They will be under the supervision and follow-up of the eGovernment Authority and in co-ordination with NGOs, specialized institutes and international organizations, they added.-TradeArabia News Service
