Manama, March 17, 2014

Bahrain's security forces have been significantly strengthened to protect the nation's stability and fight terror, Cabinet heard yesterday.

Training has been stepped up and its quality improved. The move was reflected yesterday in the Prime Minister's keenness to patronise graduation ceremonies of the 6th and 9th batches of the Royal Police Academy students in Safra, ministers heard.

Measures to enhance police readiness topped the agenda as His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa chaired the weekly Cabinet session, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
